Privacy Policy

This privacy policy is applicable to the Love Tarot app (hereinafter referred to as «Application») for mobile devices, which was developed by Carlos Colado Molina (WebAppDev) (hereinafter referred to as «Service Provider») as a an Ad Supported service. This service is provided «AS IS».

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

Automatically Collected Information

In addition, the Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application.

Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?

This Application does not collect precise real time location information of your device. The advertising provider (Google AdMob) may process your approximate (coarse) location, derived for example from your IP address, solely to serve and measure advertising, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

 

Use of External Technologies

Our application uses the OpenAI API to provide optional artificial intelligence readings. When you choose to enhance a reading with AI, the cards drawn and, if you write one, your question are sent to OpenAI for processing. For quality assurance and to ensure the proper functioning of our service, we may temporarily store these readings on our servers. However, we ensure that this data is kept only as long as necessary for these purposes and is protected with strong security measures.

OpenAI does not use the data for any purpose beyond providing the service and does not share these data with other services or third parties.

We are committed to ensuring the security and confidentiality of your data. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access and unlawful processing.

Device ID Collection for Abuse Prevention

To prevent abuse and ensure fair usage, our application collects and stores device IDs. This is essential for managing the use of the paid OpenAI API and maintaining service quality. Device IDs are used exclusively to monitor for potential misuse and are stored securely. They are kept only as long as needed to protect our service.

Questions You Write

Where the Application lets you write a question for a reading, that text is sent to the AI provider to generate the interpretation, and may be stored by us associated with a device identifier, never with your name or identity, to prevent abuse and to monitor the quality of the service. We ask you not to include personal data in your questions, whether your own or anyone else’s, and in particular not to include data revealing health, sexual life, beliefs, political opinions, racial or ethnic origin, criminal offences, or financial details. The Application never requires such information, and a question does not need it to be interpreted. Anything you type is provided voluntarily and at your own initiative. What are my opt-out rights?

You can halt all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. The Service Provider will retain Automatically Collected information for up to 24 months and thereafter may store it in aggregate. If you’d like the Service Provider to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Application, please contact them at mejortarots@gmail.com and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data may be required in order for the Application to function properly.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (mejortarots@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.

Security

The Service Provider are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are giving your consent to the Service Provider processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. «Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.

Terms of Use

Welcome to Love Tarot (the «Application»). These Terms of Use («Terms») constitute a legally binding agreement between you («User» or «you») and Carlos Colado Molina (WebAppDev) («Service Provider», «we», «us», or «our») concerning your access to and use of the Application.

By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Application and must discontinue use immediately.

1. Description of Service & Eligibility

Love Tarot is an entertainment mobile application that provides tarot card readings. As an optional feature, a reading can be enhanced with an interpretation generated by artificial intelligence using OpenAI API technologies.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Application. If the law of your country requires a higher minimum age to consent to the processing of personal data, you must meet that age or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

No Registration: The Application does not require, nor does it allow, the creation of user profiles, logins, or registered accounts.

2. Entertainment Disclaimer

The Application and all readings, whether generated by the Application itself or by the AI, are provided strictly for entertainment and novelty purposes only. Tarot readings do not constitute, and should never replace, professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. The Service Provider makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, predictive value, or relevance of any interpretation, and AI-generated content may be inaccurate or inconsistent. You assume full responsibility for any choices or actions you take based on the interpretations provided by the Application.

3. AI Features & Fair Use

The AI interpretation is an optional feature. For users without a premium purchase, access to it may require watching a rewarded advertisement.

Because each AI interpretation has a real cost to the Service Provider, the feature is subject to reasonable usage limits. These limits apply to all users, including premium users, and are intended solely to prevent abuse and keep the service available for everyone. The Service Provider may limit, suspend, or restrict AI usage for a device that exceeds these limits or shows abusive or automated behaviour.

The AI feature depends on third-party services outside the Service Provider’s control and is not guaranteed to be available at all times: it may suffer outages, delays, or errors at any moment. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the AI feature will remain available for any specific period of time or indefinitely, including after a premium purchase, and may modify, limit, or discontinue it, temporarily or permanently, at any time and without prior notice. The unavailability of the AI feature, whether temporary or permanent, does not entitle you to any refund or compensation.

3.1 User-Submitted Questions

Where the Application allows you to write a question for your reading, doing so is entirely optional: the Application works, and the reading is generated, without it. If you write one, it is sent to the AI provider together with your reading and is used solely to guide the interpretation of that reading.

Please do not include personal data in your question. A question does not need names, contact details, or identifying information to be interpreted, and we ask you not to include any. In particular, you should not submit data revealing health, sexual life or orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, racial or ethnic origin, criminal offences, or financial account details, whether about yourself or about anyone else. You should also not submit information that identifies other people.

Any information you choose to type into the question field is submitted voluntarily and at your own initiative. By submitting a question you confirm that you do so of your own free will and that, if it refers to another person, you have a legitimate basis for sharing that information. The Service Provider does not request, require, or verify any such information, and cannot prevent you from typing it.

Questions are transmitted to the AI provider for processing and may be stored by the Service Provider, associated with a device identifier and not with your name or identity, for the limited purposes of preventing abuse, diagnosing errors, and monitoring the quality of the service. They are not published, not shared with other users, and not used for advertising or profiling.

Whatever your question is about, the interpretation you receive is entertainment, as described in Section 2. It is never medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, even when the question asks about those matters, and it must never be used as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional.

The Service Provider may filter, shorten, or disregard any question, in whole or in part, in order to prevent misuse of the AI feature or to enforce these Terms. A reading may be produced without taking a disregarded question into account.

4. Purchases

The Application may offer an optional one-time premium purchase. The purpose and main benefit of this purchase is the removal of advertisements. As an additional courtesy, premium users can also use the AI feature without watching ads, subject to the fair use limits described above. Please understand that every AI interpretation has a real cost to the Service Provider, who pays a third-party provider for each request: for this reason the AI feature is not the object of the purchase, is offered as described in Section 3, and its modification, limitation, or discontinuation does not affect the removal of advertisements, which remains in force. Purchases are processed by Google Play under its own terms, and any refund request is governed by the Google Play refund policy. The Service Provider does not process payments or store payment information.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Application to:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, emulators, or scrapers to request AI interpretations, extract data, or overload the paid API endpoints.
  • Attempt to bypass advertisements, usage limits, or the premium purchase.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Application or its communication with the Service Provider’s servers.
  • Submit text that promotes violence, discrimination, illegal activities, or severe profanity, where the Application allows free-text input.

6. Intellectual Property

The Application, including its source code, artwork, card designs, graphics, UI design, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Carlos Colado Molina (WebAppDev). You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Application on your personal device for non-commercial entertainment purposes.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided on an «AS IS» and «AS AVAILABLE» basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Application, including data loss, interrupted readings, server downtime, advertising failures, or third-party API failures.

8. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms at any time. We will alert you about any changes by updating the «Effective Date» of these Terms. Your continued use of the Application after the date such revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and your use of the Application are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
